The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a breathtaking archipelago located east of India. Spread out over more than 800 km in the Bay of Bengal, it looks like the perfect tropical dream.

The islands are famous for its serene, white sandy beaches characterised by sparkling blue waters.
Thickly covered by deep green tropical forest, the archipelago supports a profusion of wildlife, including some extremely rare species of bird, but the principal attraction for tourists lies in the beaches and the pristine reefs that ring most of the islands.

Filled with colourful fish and kaleidoscopic corals, the crystal-clear waters of the Andaman Sea feature some of the world’s richest and least spoilt marine reserves – perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving.

Scuba diving is a mode of underwater diving in which the scuba diver uses a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (scuba) which is completely independent of surface supply, to breathe underwater.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS TRIP :

The minimum age is 10 yrs, so bring your kids along too and let them experience diving as well.

This Program includes a little basic theory, a few exercises in shallow water and one dive to a maximum of 12 meters with an experienced instructor
Visit to the famous historic places and islands is also included in this trip.

Day 1 - Arrival at Port Blair

Arrival at Port Blair and transfer to HOTEL. After lunch Visit to one of the first beach of Andaman, spend some time at beach In the evening proceed to attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail – where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive.

Day 2 - Port Blair - Havelock - Snorkeling

Morning departure (06:20 hrs) Govt. Ferry from Port Blair – Havelock. The ferry takes 2.5 hrs to reach Havelock. On arrival proceed to HOTEL and proceed to snorkeling excursion, by country boat (dungy) towards uninhabited islands: Light House or Elephant Beach, the former boasting the best coral diversity in a single location in the Andaman Islands and the latter a picturesque beach and forest setting. This beautiful Islet looks like its emerged straight out of a fairytale and has the best coral & marine life. The eastern side boat of a beautiful expanse of coral garden and is suitable of all levels of snorkelers. Light House is a rock protruding from the sea and has the most diverse coral life; one can swim around this Island in an hour. Please note: Wear comfort clothing like: Shorts/T Shirts/ Caps/Sunglasses/ Suntan lotion/Slippers and a change of clothes. In the evening proceed to Beach No 7* (Radhanagar Beach) rated as the ‘Best Beach in Asia’ by Time Magazine (N/Ac Car/ Jeep will be provided for pickup and drop, time spent 2-3 hours).

Day 3 - Havelock-Port Blair - Scuba Diving

If you’ve never tried Scuba, here is your chance to experience a new world in just half a day. Embark on the most exciting adventure thrill, wake up and proceed to the dive shop by 0730 hrs. Discover Scuba Diving will be taught to you by a PADI certified Instructor who will go over the important theory aspects with you and then accompany you to Elephant Beach/Light House/Beach No. 2 which is approximately 40 min by boat from our dive centre or a suitable alternative site. At Elephant Beach your instructor will begin by allowing you to get comfortable while breathing with Scuba and then teach you 5 basic exercises in shallow water which you will use during your dive. This will be followed by one dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (35 Feet!) at Elephant Beach/Light House/Beach No. 2 (Experience being underwater for a minimum of 30-40 minutes!). . Spend the evening discussing your amazing experience. And in the evening returns from Havelock Island and transfer to hotel in Port Blair. (Do note that Hotel has a morning check out time of 0900 hrs and late checkout is provided at the discretion of the hotel management).

Day 4 - Port blair - Snorkeling & Sightseeing

After breakfast, start off for a full- day excursion to Coral Island (North Bay) to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life. This is an ideal place for snorkeling as this sandy beach coupled with clear water creates a breathtaking spectacle. Please carry your lunch pack, drinking water & changing dress. After North Bay, Visit Ross Island, Ross Island the former residential and administrative island of the British during their rule of South East Asia was nick named the Paris of the East. This island was completely destroyed in an earthquake, now in ruins. Anything left in first day can be completed on this day. Harbor Cruise is a leisurely cruise (for 2 hours) in a steamer along the sea encircling Port Blair which will also take you to Viper Island, the first place of penal settlement in Andaman during British rule.

Day 5 - Depart Port Blair

Depart Port Blair with Fond memories of these mesmerizing Islands.
