If you are looking cycling on the roads along the desert , visiting the rural desert villages , meeting their people, eating their cuisine, stay in tents on the dunes, then this Rajasthan cycling tour from Bikaner to Jodhpur is a perfect ultimate trip.

This route from Bikaner to Jodhpur is through interior of the rural villages, bird sanctuaries, and sand dunes desert. Our stop for the nights would in in tents on the dunes and hot cooked food would be served by our cooking staff.

Imported Raleigh 24 speed MTB cycles would be used for this trip, along with a back up vehicle and a mechanic.

Day 1 - Arrive at Bikaner

  • Pick-up from Railway Station/ Airport
  • Check inn at Homestay in Bikaner . Stay in a Rajputs house.
  • Experience Rajasthani traditional food and lifestyle at home stay.
  • This day will be free for everyone, so that all riders can check their bikes and after that if they want they can explore Bikaner city.

Day 2 - Bikaner to Jesingdesar via Deshnok (65 km)

  • After breakfast at the home stay , our cycling trip will start.
  • After 35 km from Bikaner we will visit the world famous rat temple (KARNI MATA MANDIR, Deshnok). We will take a short 30 minutes break to visit this temple.
  • Today we will also try to visit a camel breeding farm.
  • Lunch en route.
  • A back-up SUV  would accompany the group for refreshments.
  • Reach our camp in the evening.
  • Dinner.
  • Stay in A shape tents on double sharing basis.

Day3- Jesingdesar to Chimana (65 km)

  • Post  breakfast start cycling towards ur next destination , Cheemana village. This village is known for its huge and beautiful sand dunes desert.
  • Lunch en route.
  • We will reach our campsite at Cheemana village  by evening.
  • Dinner.

Cheemana is a rural village in Jodhpur and is located in Jodhpur District of Rajasthan in India with a population of oddly 4000 people. Cheemana village is located in Phalodi Tehsil of Jodhpur district in Rajasthan, India. It is situated 77km away from sub-district headquarter Phalodi and 177km away from district headquarter Jodhpur.


Day 4- Chimana to Khichan (70km)

  • After breakfast at our camp we will proceed for our next destination Khichan.
  • Lunch en route.
  • We will reach at camp around sun set.
  • Dinner.
  • Stay in A shape tents on double sharing basis.

Khichan is a desert village in Rajasthan. It is located in the Phalodi tehsil of Jodhpur district. The village is known for a large number of demoiselle cranes that visit it every winter.khichan


Day 5 -Khichan to Osian (70 km)

  • After breakfast at our camp we will proceed for our next destination Osian.
  • Lunch en route.
  • We will reach at camp around sun set.
  • As this will be our last camping night we will celebrate it in the true desert style, with live music and barbecue.
  • Special dinner will be served today.
  • Stay in A shape tents on double sharing basis.Osiyan temple

Osian (Osiyan)is an ancient town located in the Jodhpur District of Rajasthan state inwestern India. It is an oasis in the Thar Desert, and has been known as the “Khajuraho of Rajasthan” for its temples. Osian is famous as home to the cluster of ruined Brahmanical and Jain temples dating from the 8th to 11th centuries. The city was a major religious centre of the kingdom of Marwar during the Gurjara Pratihara Of the 18 shrines in the group, the Surya or Sun Temple and the later Kali temple, Sachiya Mata Temple and the main Jain temple dedicated to Mahavira stands out in their grace and architecture.


Day 6 - Osian to Jodhpur (70km)

  • After breakfast at our camp at Osian we will proceed for our final destination to  Jodhpur.
  • Lunch en route
  • We will reach Jodhpur by evening.

JODHPUR is the second largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan and officially the second metropolitan city of the state. It was formerly the seat of a princely state of the same name. The capital of the kingdom was known as Marwar. Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination, featuring many palaces, forts and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar Desert. The old city circles the fort and is bounded by a wall with several gates. However, the city has expanded greatly outside the wall over the past several decades.Jodhpur lies near the geographic centre of the Rajasthan state, which makes it a convenient base for travel in a region much frequented by tourists. Jodhpur is also know as the blue city of Rajasthan .
