Participants include Parents  & children between age group of 3 to 14 yrs

How We Teach:

We focus on child-directed experiential learning, acute observation and inquiry, whereby students are “learning by doing”.

Highlights of the children’s adventure camp :

The 2 days 1 night LAFL Parent Children’s Adventure Camp program includes

• Trained and experienced coordinators to handle the group.
• Female coordinators for girls
• This camp has a limit of 40 so be sure to register early.
• Healthy vegetarian meals will be provided, no junk food allowed.
• No mobile phone & electronic games allowed.
• Separate toilets & bathrooms for girls & boys ( children would be assisted by female & male coordinators from LAFL).
• Completion certificates would be awarded to all children.
• Camp leader : Mr Prateek Deo – Mountaineering Graduate from HMI Darjeeling , and over 20 years experience in conducting Adventure Camps for children.
• High Standard , Tested , mountaineering equipments would be used for all activities.
• All activities mentioned , would be under the guidance of Mr Prateek Deo, and assisted by his qualified team of coordinators.
• During all activities female students would have a female coordinator to help them with.
• We would maintain strict discipline in regards to hygiene, behaviour &  punctuality.

 

Indicative activités  :
Introducing the unique and super exciting Adventure Workshops :

1. 🐜 “Into the Wild”: Immerse kids in the captivating “Insects Show.” Unravel insect kingdom mysteries through interactive activities and an exhilarating safari.

2. 🌿 “The Farming Experience”: Embark on a green adventure, guiding kids through the magic of farming, from sowing seeds to harvesting fresh veggies.

3. 🌌 “Stargazing Adventure”: Dive into celestial wonders with a night of identifying constellations and discovering planets. Ignite the curiosity of young astronomers.

Added with our trademark Adventure Activities this summer :

Tent pitching, Self cooking, Trekking, Night trekking, rifle shooting, archery, rope ladder climb, slack line, 6 obstacle courses, valley crossing, zip line, Burma bridge cross, wall climbing, net climbing, rappelling, horizontal ladder cross, commando bridge, Swing block cross, loop cross, up down rope cross, swimming pool, rain dance, campfire, rope knots workshop, self defence workshop, first aid workshop, tractor ride , Bullock Cart ride, campfire making, river bathing and lots more ….

The gap fillers Adventure Games :

Treasure hunt , Balloon up, Skit , Airplane guiding system, Tug-o-war, Water tanker tele match inside the pool, etc.

The mandatory Fitness Programs :
Yoga, breathing exercises , warm up exercises , meditation, How to trek workshop, muscle building exercises etc.

 

Note : We try to do as much as activities possible in the stipulated days of the camp.

Camp location :

Camp Site: Kamshet / Wada Maharashtra.
The Kamshet camp site is located about 20kms from Lonavala.From Mumbai it is 1 h 16 min (79.5 km) via Mumbai – Pune Expy.

The campsite at Wada is around 100kms from Mumbai.

Both the campsites are  located next to a beautiful river  and is well equipped with up-to-date staying facilities, good quality food freshly cooked at the premises, hygienic drinking water facilities and bunch of efficient support staff.
