Join us for a fun-filled 4-day, 3-night adventure camp at the Himalayan Adventure Institute near Kempty Falls, Mussoorie — specially curated for children aged 10 to 17 years. Packed with outdoor challenges, nature treks, team games, rock climbing, and life-skill learning, this camp blends excitement with personal growth in the lap of the Himalayas.

🏞️ About Mussoorie, HAI & Our Collaboration

Mussoorie, fondly known as The Queen of Hills, is a charming hill station in Uttarakhand, surrounded by dense forests and stunning Himalayan views. Its cool climate, natural beauty, and rich biodiversity make it an ideal setting for young adventurers to experience the outdoors in a meaningful way.

This camp is a collaborative initiative between Life Away From Life (LAFL) and HAI, combining LAFL’s 25+ years of experience in curating transformational outdoor experiences with HAI’s expertise in technical training and mountain safety. Together, we bring your child an adventure filled with learning, laughter, nature, and new friendships — all in the heart of the Himalayas.

Camp Details & Essentials

  • Age Group: 10 to 17 years

  • Dates: 15th May to 18th May 2026 ( Dates dont include travel days)

  • Location: Himalayan Adventure Institute, Kempty Falls, Dehradun

  • Accommodation: Dorm-style or cabin stays

  • Food: All meals + snacks included

  • Supervision: Trained LAFL staff & instructors

  • Parents are allowed to accompany there kids , but would have to stay in a different premise close to the campsite.

Life Away From Life (LAFL) Adventure Camps, helps children connect with wonder and amazement to the natural world, growing their innate curiosity and passion for the earth and its flora and fauna.

Prateek Deo – CEO LAFL, Mountaineer ( Post graduate from Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Darjeeling), Author & Musician.

– He has spent over 20 yrs conducting adventure based children programs and trips

– Done over 500+ camps for children of all ages , around Mumbai and India.

 

🚆 Travel Arrangements (Mumbai to Dehradun)

Train travel from Mumbai to Dehradun and back will be arranged by us. Tickets will be booked on actual cost basis, along with a nominal group booking service charge as levied by the travel agent.

We aim to secure seats in 2nd or 3rd AC sleeper class, depending on availability at the time of booking.

For parents who prefer to personally drop off and pick up their child at Dehradun, you’re most welcome to do so. To provide flexibility, travel charges are kept separate from the main camp fee.

Day 2 -Adventure & Skill-Building

Day 3 -The Big Trek

    • Happy Valley – Visit to India’s 1st Tibetan Shrine

    • Binog Hill – Panoramic view of 240 km of Himalayan peaks

  • Packed Lunch on trek

  • Return by evening & rest

  • Disaster Management Session

    • Evacuation techniques, first aid, team drills

  • Dinner & Reflection

Day 4 -Wrap-Up & Departure

Travel dates itinerary from Mumbai  :

14th May : Catch train for Hardiwar from Mumbai

15th May  camp day 1
Haridwar to Dehradun by train
reach Dehdradun station and travel by bus to the campsite ( 1 hr journey)
16th May : camp day 2
17th May : camp day 3
18th May : camp day 4
Travel back to Hardiwar and stay for the night at Haridwar.
19th May : Catch train back to Mumbai
20th May : Reach Mumbai
