The Ladakh Experience:

The word ‘Ladakh’ means ‘Land of Passes’. there are 2 high-altitude passes (Chang La & Khardungla pass) offering spectacular view of the world’s highest routes between the snow clad mountain ranges of Ladakh and Zanskar.

Acclimatizing is necessary:

Flying to Leh means reaching from the sea-level to 11000ft (Leh) within a couple of hours. This can is invite high altitude sickness (headache, vomiting, nausea) no matter how fit you are.

So acclimitizing is the key for the trip to be successful.

Day 1 - Arrive at Leh airport

Arrive at Leh airport, and our representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Leh. Its around 15 mins drive to your hotel.
Rest for the day.

Day 2 - Acclimatising day

This is an important day , to get used to the high altitude.

Day 3 - Leh - Local Sightseeing

Complete rest till afternoon to acclimatize to the arid high altitude of Leh (3100 mts) Evening walk around Leh colorful market Sight seeing to Shanti Stupa Overnight in the Hotel

Day 4 - Culture explore

Full day of sightseeing, visiting the three most important monasteries of Ladakh – Hemis Gompa, Thiksey Gompa and Shey Palace. Back to Leh. Overnight in the Hotel

Day 5 - Pangong Lake day excursion

Early morning departure for Pangong lake crossing Changla pass at an elevation of 5.360m (17,590ft) above the sea level. Drive back to Leh in the evening. Overnight in the Hotel

Day 6 - Nubra Valley - Khardungla Pass

Early morning start for Nubra valley, crossing the Khardungla pass . Khardung La which means the “Pass of Lower Castle“ is the world’s highest motorable pass and is the gateway to the Shyok Valley and Nubra Valley. Khardung La connects Leh and Nubra Valley and also serves as a gateway to the famous Siachen Glacier. Historically it was a major caravan route from Leh in India to Kashgar in Central Asia.Back to Leh in teh evening and stay in Hotel.

Day 7 - Departure

Drop at Airport for departure from Leh. Trip ends
