This spectacular mountain standing out on the southern skyline of Leh is one of the most sought after peaks for enthusiastic climbers. Numerous successful attempts on this 6121m / 20,076ft high peak have made this a popular destination for both experienced trekkers and amateur mountaineers.

Guest house without breakfast in Leh, all trekking arrangements like sleeping tents, kitchen and dinning tent, cook, helper, mountain guide, all meal during trek, horses to carry your luggage, ice axe, crampon, ropes, climbing shoes, gaiters, short sling for harness, carabiners, sleeping bags and transportation for sightseeing, transfers and drop and pickup from trekking points.

Stok Kangri trek - 6121 mtrs - Non-technical trekking peak.

Day 1.l Arrive Leh
If you arrive by plane or road; Receive a brief orientation & welcome cocktail, and then a free evening to enjoy Leh village including dinner and lodging in a very comfortable and charming ladakh style guest house.

Day 2. l Acclimitising
Full day rest for acclamatization

Day 03 l Acclimitising / Exploring Leh
A day of exploring the monasateries of Shey the ancient summer palace of the Ladakh Kings; Thikse with its startling resemblance to the Potala palace in Lhasa Tibet and the renowned Hemis monastery famous for its exquisite thankas and gilded images. Overnight at hotel .

Day 4 l Leh-Spituk- Zingchen
Morning departure by jeep to the village of Spituk, which lies immediately south of Leh, on the opposite side of the Indus valley. You can make a quick visit to Spituk gompa. Later drop at the trekking point near the wodden bridge and start trek to Zingchen. Meet your trekking crew and start trek about 5 hrs. to Zingchen (3410 m). Dinner & overnight in tents.

Day 5 l Zingchen- Rumbak (5 hrs. Trek)
After an early breakfast, we make the our slow walk along the stream, after crossing the stream several time we reach Rumbak (3800 m) - the picturesque and agriculturally rich valley, with its beautifullly decorated houses, small temple and school. Camp overnight in tents at Yurutse.

Day 6 l Rumbak to Mankarmo Via Stokla (4950 m) Base Camp (4700 m) 5 hours.
At the pass, colorful prayer flags flutter in the wind, with the Zanskar ranges in the background. While descending steadily along side the River and gradual ascend to Mankarmo our camp, we get excellent views towards the Stock summit and the Stock Kangri peak. (6121m).

Day 7 l Mankarmo to Base camp. 2Hrs
Reach camp in the afternoon free for preparation and demonstration by the guide in camp.

Day 8.l Base camp to High camp 3 hrs.5400Mtrs.

Day 9 l Summit day (Approximately 6 to7 hours to base-camp).

Our route initially crosses scree and boulder slopes, and then leads to easy angled snow slopes, which require the use of ice axe and crampons. The route is not difficult but at this altitude, it can be quite strenuous. From the summit of Stok Kangri (6121m), we get to see amazing views as far as the Karakoram, and Pamir ranges and Tibet. The weather permitting we rest a while and before descending to base-camp.

Day 10 l Extra day
Extra day for climbing Just incase of bad weather and problems etc.

Day 11 l Stok Kangri Base Camp - Leh
A five hour walk to Stok. That goes downhill and through wild gorge scenery brings us to Stok village. We visit Stok Palace and museum and later take jeeps for an hour's drive across the Indus valley to our guesthouse in Leh.
