Please Note : The itinerary is tentative and subject to change.

Day 1: Leh - Acclimatizing rest day
Complete rest to acclimatize to the arid high altitude of Leh (3100 mts). Evening walk around Leh colorful market overnight in Guest house.

Day 2: Leh Sight Seeing
Sight seeing to Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Leh Fort, Army and Navy Museum, Spituk monastery, Leh Monastery, etc.

Day 3 : Rafting from Phey - Nimo route
This route passes through astoundingly beautiful mountains, many of them with tiny hamlets and imposing old monasteries nestling among the valleys. Starting from Phey Village, about 12 Kms from Leh and ends Indus-Zanskar confluence at Nimo, about 36 kms from Leh.
Drive back to Leh and overnight in guest house.

Day 4: Pangong Tso visit, via Changla pass
Pangong Tso can be reached in a five-hour drive from Leh, most of it on a rough and dramatic mountain road. The road traverses the third-highest pass in the world, the Changla pass, where army sentries and a small teahouse greet visitors.
Overnight in Guest house.

Day 5: Pangong Tso sight seeing
Two thirds of the length of this lake falls in the People’s Republic of China. It is 5 km wide at its broadest point. In winter, the lake freezes completely despite being salt water. Drive back to Leh.

Day6: Nubra Valley – Khardungla pass visit – Camel Safari
Leh - Nubra (6 hrs. drive): After breakfast, drive to the mystical Nubra Valley over the exhilarating Khardungla Pass (5600m.), the highest point of our journey. The views from the top are spectacular; extending, to the south, across the Indus Valley to the seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range. To the north, the views of the mighty peaks of the Saser Massif are amazing.
visit Hunder sand dunes where Bactrian doubled humped camels are waiting for you to explore the sand dunes nearby. These shaggy, double humped animals, were once used as pack animals on the central Asian trade routes. On camel back, we pass through this dramatic high altitude desert, with its rolling sand dune and barren landscape, dotted with lush, green, and river valleys. Overnight in Guest house.

Day 7: Hunder-Diskit Monasteries, Hot springs
Visit Diskit monastery. Drive back to Leh via - Samur - Samstaling – Panamik

Day 8: Monasteries visit
Full day of sightseeing, visiting the three most important monasteries of Ladakh - Hemis Gompa, Thiksey Gompa and Shey Palace. Hemis is one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh and houses about 150 monks; it also stages the annual Hemis festival. The Gompa, nestled in a gorge and surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery, was built in the 18th century and houses a wide range of beautiful frescoes, thankas, Buddha statues and an excellent library. On the way back to Leh, we visit the superbly situated, 16th century, Thiksey Gompa, which is perched on a hill top. The Gompa houses an important collection of Tibetan-style books, a huge Buddha statue and some excellent works of art. Last stop is the ruined Shey Palace, once the summer palace of the pre-Tibetan kings. The palace monastery houses a large, bronze, blue haired Buddha statue. Back to Leh.
