Stok La - this trek is one of the most varied and beautiful treks
in the world. It ventures high into the Himalayas , through narrow valleys
and vast expanses, along trails by elaborate chortens and many walls,
rewarded by views of jagged snow-capped peaks.

Trek
to Stok La (4600m) (ex Mumbai)

Note : The itinerary is tentative and subject to change.
Day
1
Ex mumbai to delhi
day
2 - Delhi to Leh flight or by jeep or bus via Manali (
if road opens)
Day
3 reach Leh and accomodate in guest room.Evening at leisure.
Day
4 - Spend the day seeing the local market,monastries and
getting acclimitised to Leh altitude.prepare fo next days trek.
Day
5 - Leh-Spituk- Zingchen : Morning departure by jeep to
the village of Spituk, which lies immediately south of Leh, on the
opposite side of the Indus valley. You can make a quick visit to
Spituk gompa. Later drop at the trekking point near the wodden bridge
and start trek to Zingchen. Meet your trekking crew and start trek
about 5 hrs. to Zingchen (3410 m). Dinner & overnight in tents.
Day 6- Zingchen- Rumbak (5 hrs. Trek) After an
early breakfast, we make the our slow walk along the stream, after
crossing the stream several time we reach Rumbak (3800 m) - the
picturesque and agriculturally rich valley, with its beautifullly
decorated houses, small temple and school. Camp overnight in tents
at Yurutse.
Day 7 Rumbak - Stok (5-6 hrs. Trek) Morning after
breakfast start our last day of trek to Stok village. The trail
to ascend in the beginning towards east. The zig zag and steep trail
takes you to Stok la (4800 m), cross the pass and walk down until
you reach at river following from Stok Kangri & finally reach
the charming Stok village, which offers panoramic view of the Indus
valley. We camp for the night in a beautiful spot on the banks of
the stream. Overnight in tents.
Day 8 Stok – Leh (drive), After a leisure breakfast
we board our Jeeps for a short drive to Leh,
en route visit the Royal Stok Palace museum. Arrive Leh and check-in
to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in tents.

9 - Stand by day

10 - Leave for Delhi by flight or by jeep/ bus to manali,
leave for mumbai

11- Reach mumbai
