“I feel that capturing the moving images on camera is much more challenging
than capturing a single frame because there the lighting, according to the characterization,
plays a gargantuan role”.

got enrolled for the Masters in Biotechnology.
While he was doing his Masters his approach towards life started changing and
he got more driven towards photography and music. Leaving the Masters Degree
he did a Photography course from the Indo-American Society that inspired him
to study the photography work by Ansel Adams, Paul Strand, W. Eugene Smith,
Robert Frank and Henri Cartier-Bresson.
To get a practical hand on the moving images he used to run to the studios to
assist cinematographers in Mumbai. Then he did a cinematography course at the
Vikshi Institute of Media Studies, Pune run by A. S. Kanal former Professor
of the Camera Department at the FTII, Pune. To add to his learnings he went
to Toronto, Canada to pursue a Steadicam course from the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting
Corporation)
During the course of his stay in Toronto he was trained in each and every division
of Steadicam by Paul Taylor from Los Angeles, California. After understanding
the techniques and the physics involved behind the Steadicam operations he worked
as an intern with Jeremy Benning on various music videos, short films, commercials
